After a long day of meetings, running errands and taking care of kids, Lavender essential oil is what helps us wind down at night and enjoy a restful night sleep. When things get messy in the house, I know we can clean the entire house from top to bottom with a chemical free cleaner that is safe for not only our kids but also pets. Fertility Coaching

I see you. That forced smile at all those baby showers. The blunt response when someone asks you when you are going to start having kids. The tears that flow freely when a friend or family member tells you they are pregnant. That forced smile, those blunt comments and those tears are not always the response you want to give. It is the only response you can give in order to be excited for others and still hold it together. Those are tears of defeat for you. Once the tears start flowing, they don’t stop I know. We can try all we want to hide behind this fancy shield we think we have up that will protect us. I can promise you, it will not protect you and it will not comfort you. It will only destroy you. The emotions, the defeat, and the loneliness of fertility is where you lose yourself and those you love.  

One amazing place to find comfort in this situation is with the love and support from people that have been through it. The listening ear and the understanding tear that is shared when times are tough and the pure joy and deep deep connection that is created when someone finds out they are pregnant. That bond is not shared with any other. There is no one on this planet that understands the longing for a child than one that has been there and lived through it. The only way to get through this is to get through it together.

Leader & Influencer

Leadership is not a skill that some people have and others don’t. It is a skill that we are all born with it’s just a matter of whether you choose to develop that skill or not that makes the difference. Developing your leadership skills takes a bit of time and dedication. It takes a desire to want to help people live a life different than they are currently living. Leadership is the willingness to support people when things are going great and when times are tough.  It takes us being willing to accept when we don’t always know the answer but being willing to find the answer. It also means that it may not be the answer people want but we are able to help them find the positive aspect of the situation.

When I think of leaders that have made an impact on my life, it seems really simple. My parents of course, a few influential teachers I had and some very dear friends. These are people that were with me through a lot of the amazing milestones in my life and were also there to help me through some of the most challenging parts of life. The people didn’t always offer advice or their expertise, it was often a listening ear and an understanding heart that made a huge influence on me. They were there to lead me without even knowing it.

I feel that there are so many aspects of leadership and we all can fill so many different categories of leadership. It may mean we are in a stage of life such as newly being married, parenting or empty nesters. Each stage of life offers a different stage of leadership. I love that there are so many different aspects to cover when it comes to guiding and leading people. Just about the time I think I have this parenting thing under control or my marriage is rock solid, things get shaken up a little bit. At that moment, or so it seems, I have a tendency to meet the perfect person that is able to lead me through those certain situations. What that offers me is not only a learning experience for myself but then I am able to offer that experience to other people and I become the leader that is teaching others. This is what I love so much about leadership. It is all about sharing what we know with all our heart and that my friends is leadership.
